The Company
A Central Texas general contractor run by a builder
Slickrock Development builds custom homes, remodels, roofs, outdoor living, and masonry across Central Texas. The company is led by a Texas A&M Construction Science graduate whose career started in commercial construction in Austin, on projects from $30 million to more than $100 million for Fortune 500 companies.
After those years on large commercial jobs, our founder relocated to Central Texas and has since managed the construction of more than 100 homes. The focus now is local work, but the standard is the same one those Austin projects ran on: a real schedule, a real budget, documented scope, and trades held to it. A kitchen remodel in Temple gets the same planning and the same expectations as a $100 million build.
That is what estimating, purchasing, budgeting, subcontractor procurement, scheduling, and value engineering look like here day to day, whether the project is a new home or a roof.
On the client side, the team has years of experience on the paperwork end of real estate, from title work to residential leasing. That means contracts, selections, schedules, and communication are handled with the same care as the framing.
